TLC’s Kickstarter-funded new album now has a release date of June 30

After giving slightly vague album release details, ‘What About Your Friends’ hitmakers TLC will release their new album on June 30.

As you’ll recall, the duo’s manager Bill Diggins previously said the album was “tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of June”, but has now 100% confirmed this to be true via their Kickstarter page.

“The album date is firm, June 30th is the release of the new TLC album that you made happen!” he mused.

He also said a video shoot is happening in April, so there will also be a single at some point too.

Despite shelling out cash and then waiting and waiting and waiting, it seems the fans’ work isn’t quite over yet:

“ONE MORE THING….. We need your help…let’s hear your suggestions for the album title!” he added. “Tionne and Chilli are still undecided so looking to you for inspiration.”

Answers on a postcard.
