Rapper Yung Mazi was shot and killed in Atlanta on Sunday night (August 6).
According to 11 Alive News, Mazi was shot in front of a pizza shop called Urban Pie near the intersection of Oakview Road and Hosea L. Williams Drive around 9 pm.
The rapper was shot multiple times and was reportedly targeted.
In late 2016, Yung Mazi, who was affiliated with Kevin Gates, was shot at an Atlanta Waffle House and at the time said, “God made me bulletproof.”
Rappers like Rich Homie Quan took to social media to memorialize Mazi while conspiracy theories as to what led to the shooting have been haphazardly flying.
