Meek Mill Teases DC4 Follow-Up W/ Lit Snippets [Video]

Maybach Music Group‘s Meek Mill is getting ready to up the ante. The rap heavyweight has teased fans with the follow-up to his popular DC4 retail album.

Clips have surfaced of Meek previewing new tracks off the rumored DC4.5 project.

This week, Meek’s DC4 fell a couple thousand copies short of toppling the sales chart.

The album, which was released on Oct. 28 through YJ/CTE/Def Jam Records, earned a little more than 89,000 units in the week ending Nov. 3, according to Nielsen Music. The set sold 73,000 in traditional album sales. Meek Mill’s new mixtape album DC4 debuts at No. 3 with 87,000 units (and 45,000 in traditional album sales), marking his third charting effort. Last week, Meek teased fans about possibly putting out an immediate DC4 follow-up.

Various celebrities ranging from NBA champion LeBron James to Meek’s girlfriend Nicki Minaj have publicly supported the project.
