Mat Zo will return to classic Anjunabeats sets as part of new tour

The coming months are slated to be a joyous period for longtime Mat Zo fans. Following a stylistic evolution over the last several years, the Mad Zoo label-head is returning to his roots to provide a series classic Anjuna sets. These performances will be part of a brand new tour concept which Zo is introducing to fans, dubbed “Self Disassemble.”

In his tour announcement, the producer stated, “Self Assemble…was a cinematic assemblage of of all the varied influences I’ve had since childhood. Likewise, my DJ sets from 2016 drew from many different styles of music.” Now, Mat Zo has decided to go in the opposite musical direction, fixating on the individual influences he’s had and building whole sets around each.

Anjuna-era trance & progressive sets will be among the first wave of shows coming to cities around the US, according to the producer. He reportedly aims to thereafter cover inspirations which include house, DnB, and more. The tour will commence “very soon.”
