Mamby on the Beach returns to Chicago this summer for a third edition

Mamby on the Beach has broken into a competitive market of Chicago-based festivals in recent years. Returning to its lakeside home at Oakwood Beach for a third edition running June 24-25, Mamby is back in 2017 with their most impressively curated lineup yet. Heading up the bill are Local Natives, Flying Lotus, Misterwives and Walk The Moon, along with psychedelic electro-rock royals, MGMT. The festival has also secured performances by Miike Snow, Tchami, Todd Terje and the Olsens, Cut Copy, and Thundercat to name a few.

Notable electronic acts making their ways to the shore of Lake Michigan this summer include Justin Martin, The Magician, MK, and Green Velvet, who will be hosting a 25th anniversary celebration honoring his Chicago-founded Relief Records imprint at this year’s Mixmag Tent. Each year, Mamby on the Beach sees a healthy measure of expansion and improvement from the previous year. In 2017, the festival has promised the return of its silent disco, beachside yoga sessions, and more. With an aced talent roster lined up for the festival, Mamby is gearing up for its biggest edition yet.
