Jemele Hill Suspended 2 Weeks By ESPN After Alleged Call For Cowboys Boycott?

ESPN is on the verge of cancellation, at least by Black Twitter. The network just announced that Jemele Hill has been suspended two for violation of its social media policy.

A few weeks ago, controversy ensued when the sports analyst was reprimanded for having the audacity to call Donald Trump a White Supremacist on Twitter. Being that the Moron In Chief does White Supremacist things, Twitter formed like Voltron to defend Hill at all costs, especially after the White House called for her firing.

But today (Oct. 9), a statement from ESPN’s PR department says Hill has been suspended for a “second violation.”

“Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines,” says the statement. “She previously acknowledge letting her colleagues and copnay with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.”

Was anyone suspended when ESPN held a mock slave auction, though?

Word is that Hill alluding to a boycott of the Dallas Cowboys after Jerry Jones warned that players who kneeled during the National Anthem would get benched is what drew the ire of the ESPN higher-ups.

However, earlier today she said she wasn’t calling for a boycott.

Internets is already chiming in (see below and on the flip).

This story is developing.
