Recently, rap veteran T.I. addressed Iggy’s status in his star-studded Hustle Gang.

“She’s doing as good as Iggy do,” Tip said in an interview. “She working. Yeah, working. Listen, one thing I learned, man, is not to be no time on what she’s trying to do. I just let her move, man, you know what I’m saying? In the Hustle Gang, we have like a core group and then we got extended family. She’s extended family. …. Listen man, she’s got her own plans. I’m not holding my own plans up waiting on her. I’m not trying to rush her plans, I’m pursuing mine. I’m gonna let her do what she’s doing. If it ceases to be good for business, then she’ll feel that in her pocket. That will be the lesson.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

A few weeks ago, Iggy promised to deliver new music sometime this year.
