Disclosure get hacked; share lewd articles

Disclosure are easily two of the more docile individuals in the dance world; why anyone would want to hack them is beyond us. Yet, for whatever reason, such is the fate that has befallen the Lawrence brothers. In fact, in the past week, Disclosure have been hacked twice.

The first hack came about over the weekend, with the pair’s Facebook page sharing a lewd, NSFW Miley Cyrus article. The second arrived yesterday, in a bit more popular fashion among fans, despite clearly still being a hack.

Dance artists being hacked is nothing new; with their active social media presences and widespread audiences, DJs are often easy targets for hacks. Back in May, deadmau5’s SoundCloud was notably hacked by OurMine to host an Ariana Grande song.

Above all, incidents like these should serve to remind artists of all the size about the importance of cybersecurity and the need for complex passwords.
