Cryptic tweets hint at deadmau5 joining UMF lineup on Sunday [Updated]

Those that follow “True Colors” writer Zedd on Snapchat are aware by now that the Russian/German-American star has fallen on some unhealthy times as of late with ailments ranging from exhaustion to food poisoning. So much so that his headlining performance at Ultra could potentially be impacted, though no official word has arisen as of yet.

Whether or not rumors are flying around are true, deadmau5 sent out a curious Tweet that has further stirred pandemonium blooming among Ultra attendees as well as his fan base. “Hey Ultra, anyone sick, food poisoned or experiencing ‘exhaustion’ yet?” he began. “I gotta hit up Colombia, but I’ll be back Sunday,” he finished. Furthering the intrigue, Ultra then replied with a GIF that read, “You the real MVP.”

Indeed, the famed Canadian production extraordinaire seems to be making a definite appearance of some sort at Ultra on Sunday if this brief exchange has any truth to it. He’d certainly have plenty of material, given the release of two LPs over the past six months.

We’ll be updating more information as it comes available.
